For the fifth consecutive year, NovaVision, Inc -- headquartered in Bowling Green, Ohio -- was recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the fastest growing private companies in the USA. The annual listing published by Inc. Magazine includes 5000 high-growth businesses.
Mike Messmer, General Manager at NovaVision, acknowledged the recent recognition. "We achieved 105% sales growth over the prior 3-year period. Most of our sales growth is attributed to our exceptional products and customer service."
The Inc 5000 listing for 2013 is based on total sales growth for the 3-year period from 2009 to 2012. NovaVision's 105% sales growth ranked at position #3142 of the 5000 companies listed.
With 2012 sales of $9.0 million, NovaVision had 53 employees at the beginning of 2013.
Messmer added, "This marks our 5th consecutive year for the Inc 5000 listing, which is a remarkable achievement. Only 903 other companies have achieved the listing for five years or more. NovaVision specializes in hologram stickers, tamper evident labels, security tape and mechanical security seals, which are commonly used to combat counterfeiting and tampering. The company also markets security tape and labels through CGM-NV and distributes thermal transfer ribbons and labels through Thermal Images -- both of which are a wholly-owned divisions of the company.
NovaVision conducts business globally and has over 5000 active customers each year. Major customer groups include governments (USA federal, state, county, municipal and international), large international companies, retailers, and collectible companies. In addition, NovaVision provides products to brand owners, ski resorts, pharmaceutical/drug companies, hospitals, banks, trucking/logistic companies, and over 1000 other small businesses.
