Our premium Secure-ID labels provide several unique features:

2. Excellent Non Residue Performance – shows tamper evidence without leaving a messy adhesive residue on the surface and is compatible with most surfaces and varying temperatures.
   
3. Distinctive Metallic Finish - The Secure-ID labels have a distinctive metallic finish which serves as an anti-counterfeiting and authentication feature. We are the only manufacturer in the world for this unique label.
   
4. Long Life Background Colors - The standard background colors are blue, magenta, green and gold are guaranteed to be fade-proof for at least 10 years. The colors are NOT printed – they are diffracted from white light. Theoretically, the color will last for decades.
   
5. Long Life Tamper Evident feature – the hidden "VOID OPENED" pattern is created using a unique "optically thin film" construction, which maintains it's functionality for decades.
   
6. Compatible with Cold Applications – the label can be applied at temperatures as low as +10°F. After application, the label will show tampering over a wide temperature range (-40°F to over +200°F)
   

Our stock Secure-ID labels have a pre-assigned unique serial number printed in black ink. For added security, Secure -ID labels can be imprinted with your custom text, logo, or serial number in black ink or other optional ink colors.

Our Secure-ID labels are designed to show signs of tamper evidence immediately when removed from the applied surface. Unlike some competitive products, there is no waiting period for the tamper evidence feature to become operable.

Once activated, the hidden tamper evident message is permanent, which prevents unauthorized re-use of the tampered label.

The stock hidden pattern OPENED VOID varies by label. The graphics for the release pattern "OPENED VOID" feature shown is a fair representation. However, the actual graphic may vary by size, orientation, alternating forward and backwards reading, backwards reading, upside down, include upper and lower case, font, etc.

These non-residue security labels are compatible with most non-porous surfaces such as metal, glass, wood, plastic, etc. Painted and varnished surfaces are also acceptable, however if the varnish/painted surface is not fully bonded, the finish may be removed with the label.

The acrylic adhesive leaves no residue for at least 90 days after application to the surface. If the Secure-ID label is applied longer than 90 days, a minimal amount of adhesive residue may remain on some surfaces. However, any minimal residue can be easily cleaned with a citrus-based household cleaner (Goo Gone, Orange-Sol, etc).

For the customized imprint, our standard process is to print custom text, logos and serial numbers on the surface of the label using thermal transfer resin ribbons. The thermal inks are durable to mechanical abrasion, scratching and most liquids and are suitable for most applications. However, thermal printed inks can be removed with certain solvents such as gasoline, alcohol, or lotions containing alcohol.

Tamper evident security labels are often used to detect tampering with objects containing valuables, confidential information, or calibration/equipment settings. Typical applications include file cabinets, aircraft hatches, entry doors, envelopes, cartons, electronic components, ballot boxes, voting machines, etc.

Because the Secure-ID label contains an inner layer of aluminum which is conductive, it may not be suitable for electrical applications where the label is in direct contact with circuitry.
