Opaque Tamper Evident Bags
All of our opaque security bags feature a tamper evident closure system using VOID tape. After inserting the contents, the security bag is sealed. If the closure is opened, it will show some form of tamper evidence (the bag may tear or deform, or the word "VOID" or "OPENED" will be visible, etc).

Opaque bags are intended to visually conceal the contents. However, if you do not find a suitable opaque bag on this page, another consideration is to use one of our clear tamper evident bags, but place the contents inside a standard opaque bag (or envelope) before placing in the clear tamper evident bag.
Security bags are one-time use and are disposed after the initial use. The polyethylene bag material (which comprises most of the bag) can be recycled.
We offer stock and custom versions. Custom bags require a lead time of 4 to 8 weeks. Minimum order quantities may apply.
User Instructions
Sending:
- Ideally, work on flat surface
- Insert contents in the bag
- Remove as much trapped air as possible from the bag
- Remove the liner on the VOID tape to expose the adhesive
- Fold over the VOID tape onto the other side of the bag to seal the bag closed
Receiving:
- Inspect bag for signs of tampering, which includes:
- VOID message in taped seam
- Irregularities in seams or bag which suggest it was cut opened and re-seamed
- To remove contents, use scissors to cut open the bag on one edge
- Dispose of plastic bag properly, which can pose a suffocation hazard. Keep discarded plastic bags away from babies and children.
